The challenge
An economy brand which needed a design refresh to make it more relevant for the Romanian market.
Our approach
After a qualitative research which revealed many useful consumer insights, we decided to give Tomina a friendly familiar face, that of a real Romanian grandma. On the market there are some other grandmas but of Western influence, from “the movies”. Out grandma has kind eyes, she is old, she wears her head covered and we very much love and need her.
